RAF Abingdon traditionally held big annual Airshows until 1990. The Army took over in 1992. Neil Porter the Organiser (a Landscape Gardener by day) had an idea from a piece of A4 paper to develop a show, and so from year 2000, we have grown our volunteer run event into one of the largest regional charity events on the calendar.The committee comprise a Postman, Ex AirBP worker, a Bus driver & two retired staff. The 2014 event (4th May) was the 15th annual event staged with warm sunshine and a good crowd. We thank you all for supporting our volunteer run event.We have been voted as one of the top events to attend in & around Abingdon by the locals :)
